You Always Want What You Can't Have

This picture was taken with the New York City skyline in the background which you can see through the window and through my locks! Don't get me wrong, I love my locks, but I've always wished I had thicker hair.

That's why I much prefer to take pictures like this one with no backlighting. Yes, I'm vain. I'd like to say I'm working on it, but I'm really not. It's just easier to look for the right lighting. :-)

You are beautiful with or without backlighting!!

I can think of a hundred adjectives to describe your hair --beautiful, spirited, enviable, gorgeous, neat, precise, long, natural...but "thin" is not a word that comes to mind at all.

And, I always wanted less hair! So, you're right, we always want what we can't have. ;)

Tra,

My apologies! I sure didn't mean to cause any hard feelings with my post. I guess I should clarify. I didn't PHYSICALLY meet anybody whose locks looked how mine turned out BEFORE I got my Sisterlocks. I did see a bunch of pictures though. I've been told that my locks look like Monica's, Dr. Cornwell's niece. And that was said by her Mom!

As small locks in general and SL's in particular become more popular, I am seeing more similarities to my own locks. Of course, everyone else seems to have inherited the thick hair gene but me. :-)

Girl, your locks are nice, Very NICE! :) There are some out there who "Wish" they had your thin locks, instead of having soooo much hair! lol

P.S. I know this is an old post, and the odds of you reading this is??? Oh, well, back to reading...
